“ Well, it absolutely does not gonna get any fresher than this. Not only is the atmosphere so cool due to the fact that you can hear the sea and seals. An occasional otter also in the mix. But they have fresh tanks of crab and more. The chested choices of fish is also pretty wide variety. Very helpful. You can actually take your vehicle down the pier to the location to pick up. I chose to walk. ”
“ Really good onion rings and decent fish and chips and fish tacos. Shrimp cocktail was OK at best. Very friendly service and the setting is terrific with a bevy of seals nearby piling over each other calling out “ort ort ort” as they cavort. Reasonable prices and free refills and a friendly bar crew there too. ”

“ This was a real favorite of ours as we went there twice for dinner. Even though it was slightly cold when we went, they were heating lamps outside, and it was really beautiful to dine outside and to be right on the water. We also had entertainment from some sea lions, which was fun. The service was great and everyone was really friendly and the food was delicious. There were many great seafood, fresh and fried options. We highly recommend this place and really enjoyed going and we can’t wait to go again. ”
“ I have seen this place at the end of the pier but this is my first visit. What a great view of the San Luis port. The boats the seals, just great. And the food was great too! I got the clam chowder and the steamed clams. Both very nice and the service is great. I will be back. ”

“ I love their salads! They are always delicious and fresh. Everything I have ever eaten here has been really good! Grab a coat if you sit outside because it can get a little windy at times but the view from their pier seating is amazing. You can hear and see the sea lions lounging out in the water on their little deck. They are hysterical creatures to watch. Grousing over little spaces and who’s touching who. Come out for a bit of food and view, you won’t be disappointed! ”
“ Mersea’s is a great spot on the pier for great food and great views. We highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the salads are always big and delicious. You may be serenaded by the sound of barking seals and seems to be popular with people with dogs. Get out and check it out! ”
